The issue i am going to write may look odd for some ,some may disagree wit me or some may abuse me too....still i m confused ...actually i should not..but the situation has really came to think over it ...i know just by saying this nither me nor anybody can change the scenario....action is needed ...who will take it...me ...you...we all????
OK OK!!!!! the subject is again my own country..our beloved nation....on the day of marathon while running i argued with my friend sachin about this issue...i just stated ...india is just a developing country ..nothing else ..nothing great to feel really when we compare benchmark standerds...we cant be improved.....se the railway platforms...when u wait 4 train number of peoples spitting like no care .....we cant keep holy place clean (take example of nashik)....he listen me calmy and replied "my friend u r thinking wrong" i obiously nodded as not agreed
for just stating or writing a long blog i will just mention why i think so ...ya its a one person view ...who used to love is country like a mad in his childhood...but later on as he grows somehow he has seen the actual condition and forced to change his view..that person is me
ohh so the things go here..........
1)population : growing faster than nything else ...noone is intrested really in keeping it in
control,so its exploding and by 2050 we will ahed of china...nothing great in it
stilll majority below poverty line and situation not so hopeful too
2) rules : Rules are meant to be broken here....fuck the rules is attitude here...may it traffic rule,smoking rules,bribe rules Most of us are knowngly or unknowningly doing this.see the condition of roads and traffics....strict action can change the present condition to major extent...but we are not taking it seriously
3)politics: Every other person opening new party supported by some part of community...
very few seems to be concerned for peoples...these party slogans changes ,priorities
changes as election comes closer...they cant defend countries pride even after terror
attacks on mumbai it has taken a long way to get justice or punishing guilty one.
1993 or recent attacks ...cases pending year after year.....
4)INfrastructure : least importance has been given to this ...ever for begining..agree that popla-
tion is increased at booming rate ...we should look at long term future...which
is missing...and when time comes we run for takleing with the situation...for
example take travelling ....after british left india 50 years nothing has been
considered to see alternate sourses or ways of transporation in rail media.
only now it has been a question arised ...so does follows roads work,traffic
jams ,irritated nd exhausted peoples,pollution.....
5) pollution : yesterday i had seen documentary on ganga river....it was such a pity to see the
present situation of extremely polluted holy river and nobody bothers about
stopping contaminating responsible peoples even after realising it.......air pollution is there too....grrr....duplicate autority liences for very old viechels play the part here
6)corruption, lack of strong law for communal disputes, poor stand (no verbal talking abt action )against terror ,some rules and regulations on buisnesses al are there
hmmmm!!!! i just think each problem can not be solved by willing of u me on few people...ya we can behave well and walk on true path and ask as many others to come with us....but unless politicians will not take strict measures against all these issues its really hard to get outta all of this...we will be developing country only if we still continue like this
I see china ....how they transformed themselves after world war2 .whay cant we ....
me will think thousound times of being a better citizen but unless remaing corores are not thinking in the way how can we achieve the goal of being a resident of really powerful and beautiful country....
U guys tell me the way ...yes i too had solution to all above problems but are in vain unless i had a power ...no political party had it..its again dirty politics that ruin chances of india being superpower in last few decades....
I just wish i can say proudly and from bottom of my heart ..yess i simply love my country ...because we are best....best than rest...waiting eagrly for that day to come!!!!!!!

Very first thing that your are an excellent writer & good poet which I don’t.
Those things you have mentioned in your this blog are not something ordinary Indian can think.
You know the lacking points in us. This is very important each Indian to feel such kind of views & feelings same like as you think.
Many of friends also don't think like in such a way. We found very difficult to change their mind just to act as a good citizen.
Similarly, it is very difficult everyone (politicians, relatives, colleague, well-wishers) to change there mind.
Your concept about population, rules, law & order, on politicians, infrastructure, pollution, corruption are noticeable & heart touching.
It’s an example of good citizen. If everyone thinks like this we would have been empowering the world.
But unfortunately population & corruption are major lacking in us. Also, indiscipline of our people & their typical mentality.
There are very few number people in us like you.
Even then prashant, if things are not right, it is not somebody else's problem. We have to take leadership to make them correctly.
If we keep blaming politician & others for problems nothing can be change in soon..... will be as it is, for many years.
There are many who don't understand the problem & criticizing government.
I personally believe in Don't criticize the problem be a part of solution......be a part solution!
yes sachin when u tld me that nerul station wala kiassa i felt proud that i had a frnd like u and even after saying or writibg this much on the issue i too belive or agree wid u that s be a part of solution better to start off now than being late......boond boond se sagar banta hai and soon or later down the time sure we will be a superpower ...as india is getting educated more than before this scene can be changed soon in coming decades....thanks 4 replying ....
Well done guys but I would suggest stop quaraling on the issue & start working on it, there r people who speak a lot but there only a handy few who actually work. So lets keep working & forget what others do. We can control only over self so let's whatever best we can.
I share the same feelings. There's frustration in every Indian, these days, you know. But I can suggest you only 1 thing - It is better to take action rather than complain, because cursing darkness won't give you light!
